Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern the use of the Smart Job Finder service (the site smartjob.cc, the “Service”). By using the Service, you accept these terms. The Service is a job aggregator: it collects jobs from open job APIs (Adzuna and Arbeitsagentur, mainly across Germany) into a single feed and helps you filter them by your criteria. Using the Service is free of charge.

Registration and account

The job feed, browsing, search and filtering are available without registration. An account is needed to save jobs, keep notes, mark applications and maintain your own selection. When registering you provide your name, email and password. You are responsible for keeping your account access secure and for actions taken under it. You can delete your account in your profile settings at any time.

How the Service works

Jobs come from external sources; their content, currency and accuracy rest with those sources. The Service shows what they provide, removes duplicates and irrelevant listings according to your rules, and links to the original posting. Applying and hiring happen on the side of the employer or job board under their rules — applications are not submitted within the Service.

Rights and obligations

You agree to use the Service lawfully and not to attempt to disrupt its operation, gain unauthorised access to others’ data or circumvent restrictions. We may limit or terminate access in case of abuse. We strive to keep the Service running, but may change its features or suspend operation for maintenance.

Liability and limitations

The Service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee the availability of suitable jobs, receipt of a reply or a job offer, and are not responsible for employers’ decisions or the content of external listings. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses related to the use of the Service.

Changes to the terms

We may update these terms. The current version is published on this page; the date of the last update is shown at the top. By continuing to use the Service after changes, you accept the updated terms.
